My name is Cain, Le Prince de la nuit, and I was born in the year of 1867. My mother was a French unicorn and my father was the blood thirsty butcher that lived down your street a while past. My seven mermaid sisters were murdered in the Indian ocean during the war between the Rusalka and Sirens. My four brothers were kidnapped and transformed (reluctantly mind you) into aye-ayes.

When I was six I tried to kill the ring leader of the local circus. At 11 I became a Private Eye, the following year gypsies stole my fortune. With what little money I had left, I bought a ticket and ran away to Morocco and lived with the native gazelles. A few years later I found my way to Japan, where I became an acquaintance of the Snow woman. I eventually left her for she had become greedy over men's souls. After living in the forest of Kyushu for what I felt like was much too long I swam the Sea of Japan and ended up in China. I met many sad pandas and dangerous monkeys. After travelling through Xinjiang and many countries I reached the United Kingdom and befriended a man named Jack. Though I didn't see him alot, said he had business to conduct. He disappeared completely after a murder in 1888. I lived alone until I met a Phooka while hiking in Wainwrights. He brought along with him a few banshees who entertained us until the sun rose. Like Jack, They disappeared too.
